Dear Wonderful Students of Helen Doron School in Radom
I’m stopping by your school today, only to find it wonderfully quiet (after all, it is Saturday). So instead, I decided to write this letter for you and tell you about the gifts I’m bringing.
They’re not ordinary presents; they carry meaning,
purpose, and a spark meant just for you.
Learning a second language is not easy, but you have shown amazing courage and determination. You practice even when it’s challenging, you keep trying even when mistakes happen, and you support one another with kindness and love. That is real Christmas spirit!
The gift you are giving yourself is something truly amazing, the gift of speaking a second language. It is a gift that will grow with you, open doors for you, and connect you with people all around the world. It’s not a toy that breaks or a treat that disappears, it’s something that stays with you for life. And you earned it with your effort, your curiosity, and your big, beautiful hearts.
You are also receiving a special gift from me: a set of tasks for the coming days of December. These tasks will help you direct your effort toward something truly meaningful. Sometimes the results of what we do are not visible right away, but real happiness is built step by step, by giving a part of yourself to others, and also by accepting their care, attention, patience, and openness.
Be this way towards yourselves, but also towards others, because such small acts can bring happiness that stays with you for many years.
And remember-do not give up! Resilience means perseverance, but also the ability to adapt flexibly to whatever situation you find yourself in. If something cannot be done today, try again tomorrow. If it doesn’t work with one person,
try with another. If you cannot manage something financially right now, take care of that first (English will help you!), and then go back to your goal, you
will get there.
Your effort and your resilience are truly the best path to success. Every step you take, even the smallest one, brings you closer to the wonderful things waiting ahead of you.
